Welcome to Lake Geneva Passport. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Lake Geneva Passport LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company ("Lake Geneva Passport," "we," "us," or "our"), and govern your access to and use of https://www.lakegenevapassport.com, our newsletter, our digital passes, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, subscribing to our newsletter, or purchasing a pass, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state, to purchase a pass or enter into these Terms. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not available to anyone under 13.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. What the Service is
Lake Geneva Passport is a digital tourism passport that curates places to visit in and around Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and unlocks exclusive offers at participating local businesses ("Partners"). After purchase, open your pass from the confirmation screen or email link — it works in your phone browser with no App Store required (iPhone app optional). Redeem offers on your phone at Partners.
We curate and present Partner offers, but offers, goods, and services are provided by Partners, not by us.
3. Marketing communications
You may subscribe to our newsletter by submitting your name and email address. Subscribing does not create an obligation to purchase and does not guarantee pass availability, pricing, or a promotional offer.
Promotions offered to subscribers (such as launch BOGO offers) may be limited in quantity, subject to additional conditions, and changed or discontinued before being claimed.
4. Passes, pricing, and payment
- Passes and pricing: A single pass is currently $39. All prices are in U.S. dollars and may change. The price shown at checkout applies to your order.
- Taxes: Prices may not include applicable taxes, which are added where required.
- Payment: Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. By providing payment details, you authorize charges for the applicable amount and represent you are authorized to use the payment method.
- Order confirmation: Your pass and confirmation are sent to the email you provide. If needed, you may use the Resend pass feature or contact support.
5. SMS communications
- What we send: Lake Geneva Passport will text your pass activation link to the number you provide, plus a resend of that link when you request one. These are transactional messages about your own order. We do not send promotional or partner-offer text messages.
- Consent: You choose text delivery on our opt-in form, by entering your mobile number and ticking a consent checkbox that is not pre-checked, with the full SMS disclosure printed beside it. Text delivery is optional and is not required to purchase. If you never opt in, we send you no text messages, and your pass is delivered by email either way.
- Frequency and cost: Message frequency varies based on your activity: typically 1 message after purchase, plus a message each time you request a resend. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Opting out: Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Opting out never affects access to a pass you have purchased, because the activation link is always emailed as well and can be resent from the Resend pass page.
- Your number: No mobile information or SMS opt-in consent will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share your number with service providers who help deliver messages on our behalf, such as Twilio and Stripe, solely for that purpose.
Full program terms are on our SMS Terms page, and the opt-in itself is documented on our SMS Consent page.
6. Promotional offers
We may offer discounts, bundles, or promotions from time to time, including launch offers. Promotions are subject to stated terms and limits (for example quantity caps, eligibility, and expiration). Promotions may not be combined unless stated, have no cash value, and may be modified, suspended, or ended at any time.
7. Pass editions, validity, and redemption
- Seasonal editions: Passes are sold for a specific seasonal edition (for example, Summer 2026). The Summer 2026 edition is valid through the end of September 2026.
- Validity: Each pass is valid only for its purchased edition and expires when that edition ends. Passes cannot be carried over or extended.
- Edition-specific lineup: Partner participation and offers may differ between editions.
- Redemption: To redeem an offer, present your pass as instructed at a participating Partner. Offers are redeemable only as described.
- Usage scope: A pass is intended for the purchaser and companions covered by the selected pass tier, for personal and non-commercial use.
- Availability and changes: Partner participation, offer availability, hours, blackout dates, and conditions may change at any time.
- Age-restricted offers: Some offers may involve age-restricted goods or services and are subject to Partner verification and applicable law.
8. Refunds and cancellations
Passes are digital products that provide immediate access to curated content and unlockable offers, and passes are non-transferable. Except as stated below or where required by law, all sales are final.
14-day unredeemed window:If you have not redeemed any offer with your pass, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the edition's season has not ended. Once any offer is redeemed, or after season end, the pass is non-refundable under this paragraph.
Satisfaction guarantee:If you're not satisfied with your pass, email lowell@lakegenevapassport.com and we'll make it right, including a full refund where appropriate.
To request a refund or report billing issues, email lowell@lakegenevapassport.com.
9. Partner offers and third-party businesses
Partners are independent third parties. We do not own, operate, or control Partners and are not their agent. Partners are solely responsible for providing and honoring their own offers.
- We are not a party to transactions between you and a Partner.
- We are not responsible for Partner quality, safety, legality, pricing, availability, or fulfillment.
- Disputes about Partner offers are between you and the Partner.
- Partner listings are not endorsements or warranties by Lake Geneva Passport.
- The Service may include links to third-party sites we do not control.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
12. Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use them for any purpose without obligation or compensation.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL PASSES, CONTENT, AND OFFERS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PASS GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 (USD), TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lake Geneva Passport and its owners, employees, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.
16. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by Wisconsin law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 17, disputes must be brought in state or federal courts located in or serving Walworth County, Wisconsin, and you consent to those courts' personal jurisdiction.
17. Dispute resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at lowell@lakegenevapassport.com and attempt informal resolution. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may pursue claims in the courts identified in Section 16, including eligible small-claims matters.
18. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, and may update these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate. Continued use after effective date means acceptance of updated Terms.
19. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access and void passes/offers at our discretion, including for Terms violations. Sections that by nature should survive termination, including Sections 8, 9, and 11 through 20, survive termination.
20. General

- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of future enforcement.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
