Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Lake Geneva Passport ("Lake Geneva Passport," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to https://www.lakegenevapassport.com and any related web pages, newsletter signup forms, digital passes, and services we provide (together, the "Service").

By using the Service, subscribing to our newsletter, or purchasing a pass, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Lake Geneva Passport is operated from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, USA. The Service is intended for users located in the United States.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Lake Geneva Passport LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, contact lowell@lakegenevapassport.com or write to the mailing address in Section 13.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide directly, information we collect automatically when you use the Service, and information we receive from third parties.

a. Information you provide to us

  • Newsletter signup information: name and email address.
  • Purchase information: details needed to process your order, such as name, email, and billing details.
  • Mobile phone number: collected when you ask us to text your pass link, with your consent, so we can text you your pass activation link and resends of that link. See Section 6 and our SMS Terms.
  • Communications: any information you provide when contacting support or requesting pass help.

Your payment card information is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor; we do not receive or store your full card number.

b. Information we collect automatically

  • Device and technical data (for example IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers)
  • Usage data (for example pages and offers viewed, links clicked, and dates/times of visits)
  • Approximate location derived from IP address to provide locally relevant content and offers
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5)

c. Information from third parties

  • Payment processors provide transaction confirmation and limited details such as last four card digits and billing ZIP code.
  • Analytics and advertising providers may provide aggregated information about how visitors find and use the Service.

3. How we use your information

We use collected information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Add you to and manage our newsletter list, including updates about passes, partners, and promotions
  • Deliver, resend, and support your digital pass
  • Process purchases, including promotional offers such as launch discounts
  • Communicate with you about your pass, order, and customer support requests
  • Send marketing and promotional messages where permitted (email only; we do not send marketing or promotional text messages), with opt-out options, including checkout reminder emails if you opt in and leave checkout incomplete.
  • Personalize the spots and offers we show you
  • Understand usage and improve Service content, performance, and security
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers who help run the Service (for example hosting, payment processing, email delivery, customer support, and analytics)
  • Partner businesses when needed to honor redeemed offers; partner businesses are independent and govern data they collect directly under their own policies
  • Legal and safety purposes if required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, or investigate fraud
  • Business transfers in connection with mergers, acquisitions, financings, reorganizations, or asset sales
  • Other purposes disclosed to you and shared with your consent

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Mobile information. No mobile information or SMS opt-in consent will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share your number with service providers who help deliver messages on our behalf, such as Twilio and Stripe, solely for that purpose. This applies regardless of any other sharing described in this section, including partner businesses and business transfers.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, measure performance, and understand usage. Some cookies are necessary for functionality and others help us analyze and improve the Service. Browser settings may let you block or delete cookies, but some features may not function properly if certain cookies are disabled. Where required by law, we request consent before placing non-essential cookies.

6. Your communication choices

  • Marketing emails: opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting lowell@lakegenevapassport.com. We may still send non-promotional messages about purchases, passes, and support.
  • Newsletter communications: request removal at any time by contacting us.
  • Text messages: if you ask us to text your pass link and give your consent on our opt-in form, we text your pass activation link to the mobile number you provide, plus a resend of that link when you request one. We do not send promotional or partner-offer texts. Message frequency varies based on your activity: typically 1 message after purchase, plus a message each time you request a resend. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Full program details are in our SMS Terms, and the consent screens are shown on our SMS consent page. Opting out of texts does not affect your pass — the activation link is always emailed as well.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information as long as needed to provide the Service, fulfill purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information as required by applicable law.

8. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your email account because digital passes and order confirmations are sent by email.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights related to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, contact lowell@lakegenevapassport.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing requests.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), including rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of certain data sharing. We do not sell personal information and will not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact lowell@lakegenevapassport.com and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Third-party websites and offers

The Service may link to, or unlock offers at, third-party partner businesses and websites that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. Their own privacy policies and terms govern when you interact with them directly.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and post the new version on this page. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required by law. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
